The exhibit opening in April 22nd from 7-9 pm, and features works by Eileen Elkinson, Jennifer K. Martin, Thomas Bowker, Barry Fitzgerald, and Alejandro Fuentes.

new solo show featuring the works Frankie Miller, opening March
16, 2006 and continuing through the 31st.
Frankie Miller studied at the San Francisco Arts Institute, and
received a B.F.A. in Visual Art, Concordia University, Montreal,
in 1982. She has exhibited at the McLure Gallery, Musee du Quebec,
Galerie Magdeleine Monast, LaFolie des Arts, among other Canadian
venues, and at the Charest-Weinberg Gallery in Key West, Florida.

LARRY ESTRIDGE
The Charest-Weinberg Gallery to present a new solo show featuring the works of local Key West sculptor Larry Estridge.
In recent years, Estridge's work has focused on abstract sculpture
works in steel, which build on his long-term fascination with primary
underlying forms in nature and their reflection in diverse art-historical
contexts. These spare and elegant, psychologically resonant works
employ flat steel plate and bar to enclose and carve space in surprising
ways, offering diverse readings of archetypal content.
For the current show Estridge has continued this exploration with
an exciting new body of boldly-colored works. These include, for
the first time, pieces in aluminum which exploit that materials lightness
and strength to further elaborate a curved and bent realm of apparently
living, morphing, figural forms.
