IMPLEMENT: New Orleans Residential Interiors Project
- April 28, 2020
I recently have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with an amazing couple here in New Orleans on their very first home together. They purchased this home in January of last year, but have basically not touched it since they moved in. They have no furniture that they want to keep, so I was given a clean slate, which is like really good music to an interior designer’s ears. The home also has a great flow, amazing wood floors through out, and needs no major renovation work. All perks. Pluuuuus, the owners have great taste! From what I can tell, they like classic pieces with modern accents. Neutral color palettes with spots of fun color. An overall comfortable and sophisticated vibe which uses color as the edge factor.
I presented two schemes to them and this is Scheme 1′s living room and entry. I will let you see Scheme 2 tomorrow. I cannot wait to hear your feedback and preferences?! Scheme 1 uses an overall warmer color palette with red and blue as accent colors. It also is the less costly option. Enjoy!
